Necessary restructuring lead to success for Storen Treindustri
Støren Treindustri is Norway’s biggest manufacturer of prefabricated modular buildings. They have focused heavily on automating their production. In recent years, Støren Treindustri has gone through a large restructuring. From being artisans facing strong headwinds they are now an industrial company with a strong faith in the future. They hold a strong market position today because of the significant restructuring of their company.
“We were having prolonged negative development and had to change the way we did things. We were artisans that had to rationalize, become more competitive and forward facing if we were going to survive” says CEO Roald Haug.
